Welcome!

If you’ve arrived at this page, I guess you’re thinking about your retirement. How do you feel about it? Delighted, or filled with gloom? Have you chosen your retirement date yourself, or has it been chosen for you? Perhaps you’ve already retired, and you’re not as happy with it as you thought you would be. Or maybe you’re unsure whether and when to retire at all!

Whatever your circumstances and however you view your retirement, it helps to be able to work out what you want to do and to make a plan. It might be a plan for how to manage the transition between the end of your working life and the beginning of your retirement. It might be a plan for how you actually want to spend your retirement. What will you do? Will you work or play or do a bit of both? What do you want to have done while you’re still fit, who do you want to have done it with, and when do you want to have done it by? Or it might be a plan for how not to retire. Whatever your situation, having the chance to think about what retirement means to you and why, and having a plan in place can make all the difference to how you view the rest of your life – and to your happiness, both now and in the future.

And that’s where Retirement Coaching can help! My mission is to help you figure out for yourself:

  • Whether and when you should retire
  • What you’re going to do if you decide not to retire
  • How to manage the retirement process if you are retiring so that’s it’s more of a pleasure than a pain
  • How to make your retirement as satisfying and enjoyable as it can possibly be.
